There's a Little Real Life in Every Book
Every story I write is touched by somewhere I've been or somewhere I've dreamed of going. I've wandered cobblestone streets in Europe, watched sunsets over the ocean, and fallen a little bit in love with every city that's ever made me feel like anything was possible.
Those places find their way into my books — not always by name, but always by feeling. The way a city smells in the rain. The way a bridge looks at twilight. The way two strangers can share a glance across a crowded café and suddenly the whole world gets a little smaller.
But that's a story for the blog. ❤️
When I'm Not Writing...
You'll find me somewhere in Colorado, probably with a dog in my lap and a cup of coffee going cold beside me. I'm a wife, a mom, and someone who genuinely believes that a good book and a cozy blanket can fix almost anything.
I love hiking trails that end with a view, road trips with no real plan, and any restaurant that makes me feel like I'm somewhere far away from home.

Behind Lia Renza Books
Writing may begin with one person and a blank page, but bringing those stories into the world has become something even more special. I'm incredibly fortunate to have my daughter, Emily, as the Creative Designer and Marketing Director for Lia Renza Books.
From cover design to social media to the overall look and feel of everything you see here — Emily's fingerprints are on all of it. She has an eye for beauty and a heart for storytelling that makes everything she touches feel intentional and warm.
Working with her has been one of the unexpected joys of this whole journey. I started writing to tell love stories. I didn't expect that the process itself would become one.
As her mom, I've always known how talented she is. Getting to work alongside her professionally and see that talent firsthand has been an unexpected gift.
I write the love stories. Emily helps me bring the world around them to life. And somehow, we still like each other when the workday is over. ❤️
